How Does the 20-20-20 Rule Prevent Eye Strain?

These days, screen time is a major problem. You most likely spend a significant amount of time staring

at displays, whether they be on your smartphone, television, work or home computer, or other

digital gadgets. Overexposure to screens can cause eye strain. Still, the 20-20-20 rule could

be useful. It's possible that your eye doctor has brought up this guideline if you find yourself

staring at screens all day. Basically, you should aim to look away from anything that is

20 feet away from you for a total of 20 seconds per 20 minutes that you spend using a device.
