How Often to Feed Kittens?

Smaller kittens (6–16 weeks old) require many meals daily. We want to provide them with enough

energy to sustain their growth and caloric expenditure. Feed meals every eight to ten

hours. You may divide the total number of calories your kitten need each day by the number

of meals that it needs, as determined by your veterinarian. Once kittens reach four to

five months of age, they may usually be switched to eating twice a day. This means they will

still get all the calories they need each day, but they will be fed in bigger, less frequent meals.
