What level of low blood pressure is too low?
Your blood pressure level should be as low as possible, within reason. A value of less than 90/60 mm Hg is classified as
hypotension, while there is no set threshold below which normal blood pressure is deemed excessively
low. Too low of a blood pressure is called hypotension. As long as there are no symptoms
indicating an oxygen shortage, the condition remains benign. Unless you are also experiencing other symptoms
or issues, a single lower-than-normal result normally doesn't warrant concern. It is advisable to speak
with your healthcare provider if you suffer from nausea, lightheadedness, dizziness, or other symptoms.
