Why am I so tired when I wake up after eight hours of sleep?

Sleep inertia is the feeling of being fatigued when you first wake up. Typically, it lasts for one hour and

fifteen minutes. It may be a sleep problem, a medical issue, or a component of your lifestyle if you are

receiving enough sleep yet still feel drowsy. Ages 18 to 60+ adults need to sleep for at

least seven hours per night. While some people need less sleep, others need a bit

more to feel fully refreshed. Consult your healthcare professional if, after

getting eight or nine hours of sleep each night, you are still experiencing fatigue.
